How do I log into my library account?
From the library website, click on the red Library Catalog link. Choose the Blaisdell Memorial Library site. To log into your account, use the log in button in the upper right hand corner of the page. Do not use the create account button. Your user name is your patron card number minus the “P”, Your password is the first initial of your first name and your entire last name in lower case letters. Once you have logged in, click on MY INFO ( a tab at the top of the page) for your current library account information.
How come the system won’t let me renew my books?
If your books are overdue, have a hold on them or have been renewed before, the system will not let you renew them on line. Also if you owe a fine, it will not renew your books. Please call us and we will renew them for you if no one is waiting for them.
How do I place a hold?
Log in to your account, then search the catalog for the title you would like. When you find it, click on the title for title details and the Hold It Button is right there. You simply click on that and when the book is available , we will notify you.
How do I request a book from another library on line?
You cannot request a book directly from another library. You can see what is available at other libraries in the state by clicking on the blue Search New Hampshire Libraries link. Once you see something you like you can send an e-mail or call the library to request the book(s).

The library does not have or ever had his diaries. There are some at the Historical Society Museum which were donated to them by some family members. They are available for reading there. The museum is generally open on Thursdays from 9 – 11 AM. However it will be open this week and then closed for a few weeks because of the holidays. There is no phone there but you can contact me if you wish to visit some Thursday and want to confirm that some one is there. The library phone number is 603-679-8484.
